Sue Pryke began working with clay at a small pottery in Lincolnshire, learning the skills required for successful production throwing before going on to study at Leicester Polytechnic and the Royal College of Art. After graduating, she honed her craft at Wedgwood whose rich heritage and mastery of traditional methods and techniques proved a constant source of inspiration.
Today, Sue combines working with artisan factories and studios to produce her contemporary craft-made tableware collections with designing for major brands using a variety of materials. Her work is universally admired and received industry recognition in 2014 when she won the Ceramics and Glassware category in the Homes & Gardens Designer awards.
